888Basecoat is a high performance basecoat system featuring outstanding coverage, rapid dry times, excellent metallic flake control and optimum blendability.

888Basecoat is thinned one part basecoat to one part Uni Thinners (171-174).

888Basecoat is easy to spray and very easy to blend. Apply 2-3 medium coats with a 50% overlap. Allow 5-10 minutes flash off. Clear coat after 30 minutes.

88Basecoat can be applied over a variety of substrates including:

• Properly prepared previously painted surfaces.

• Properly prepared OEM surfaces.

• Z777 Mid Coat Adhesion Promoter.

• VP50 Epoxy Primer

• DTM2035 Primer

Notes: 1. Do not apply over acid etch primers. 2. If Basecoat is allowed to dry more than 24 hours before clearcoating, scuff and respray basecoat.
